Although, the memberships are optional.  Joining the federations include insurance to cover catastrophic event, and it carries to any dojo that is a member of the AUSKF or MWKF.  Also the federations helps pay the cost for bringing high ranking sensei’s from Japan to have camps and seminars.  The membership benefits every Kenshi.  So join up to support!

Another news is during the 11th Annual Detroit Tournament, two of our members have successfully passed their exams:

  • Hanae Tsujimoto – 1 Kyu
  • Lyfonge Yang – 2 Kyu
