			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For people who don&#8217;t know who Miyazaki Masahiro sensei is, how could you?!   Miyazaki sensei participated in the All Japan Kendo Championship (meaning the best fighting the best).  Winning 6 times 1st place, 1 second place and 3 third places (victories in 3 consecutive years once, victories in two consecutive years once) between 1990 to 2001.  <span id="more-144"></span>Miyazaki sensei assumes the position of head instructor at the Kanagawa prefecture police department in 2008 (<a href="http://budo2008.nifs-k.ac.jp/en/guest/miyazaki.html" target="_blank">Source</a>).  If you want to know more, read the amazing short biography of Miyazaki sensei <a href="http://budo2008.nifs-k.ac.jp/en/guest/miyazaki.html" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
<p>Winning 1 time makes you the Kendo chump and have a fan club on facebook with 100 plus people joining, but 6 times?!  That makes him the Kendo God!   Here are the videos him passing 8th Dan:</p>

<p>Also congratulation to Aaron for passing Ikkyu!</p>
<p>The godo-geiko and the tournament were great and extremely well organized by Detroit dojo, so big thanks to Detroit dojo for hosting such wonderful taikai!</p>
