Hi all,
We need to do a renewal on everyone’s waiver and updated information. So if you could kindly print the following form out, fill it in and bring it to the dojo when you come in, it would greatly appreciated. We’ll also have a few forms there if you don’t have a printer. Thank you!
The annual AUSKF & MWKF membership drive is here, and we’re running a bit behind! So if you were in class last Saturday, here’s the form. Remember, make ONE check payable to Minnehaha Kendo Dojo, NOT AUSKF / MWKF!! Please bring them in on Saturday, the 28th!
Another news is during the 11th Annual Detroit Tournament, two of our members have successfully passed their exams: (more…)
First of all, I have noticed the website had been slowing down to a halt sometimes. I won’t bore you with the technical details, but I am working on it to make it runs fast again. I had trouble updating the site myself, but I apologize for the technical difficulties. So for a quickie update and announcement but I’m sure most of you know this by now:

Promotional Information
The deadline for turning in the application is Febuary 6th. You can also find the promotional application on the MWKF website. Thank your lucky star that Tyler Zimmerman sempai is now our MWKF VP of promotion, so you can hand him the application directly.
Hopefully the website won’t explode in the next few days…
I apologize in the last post I mentioned there will be new year party on the 20th, actually the party is on 1/3/09. Although, the dojo will still be closed after the 20th until January 3rd.
Please note there will be no practice on 12/6 due to an event at Madison, WI. Class will resume on the following Wednesday 12/10
First of all, thank you to all volunteers and participants who made the 20th MWKF Tournament possible. Without you, it would not be possible.
Secondly, we would like to congratulate all the winners of the tournament, and Cochran sensei won 2nd place in Seniors! Results will be posted later this week on this website and the MWKF website. So stay tuned!
Finally, we would like to congratulate the following Minnehaha members who have successfully passed their exams on Sunday:
Actually, one more announcement. University of Wisconsin will be hosting a team practice on November 15 & 16. More detail will soon follow.
Please be at the dojo at 2:30 and get ready to go by 3:00 so we can practice entering and exiting a Shiajo (Match area/ring). Also if you have not pay for your registrations, please do so.
Thank you
