For those who are not aware, the 14th World Kendo Championship just took place over the weekend in the capital of Brazil. The final team results are finally in, and USA got 2nd place again this year! Go USA!!!

Saturday, July 25th, 2009Please mark your calendar that Yamanaka sensei (8th Dan Hanshi) and Saito sensei (8th Dan Kyoshi) from Japan, along with Sakamoto sensei (6th Dan from Chicago dojo) will be here on August 5th! Please arrive around 5:45 and no later than 6:10! Be ready to go at 6:30! Thank you!
2009 MWKF Summer Camp
Thursday, June 4th, 2009Although the 2009 MWKF Summer Camp is not officially posted on the MWKF website just yet. It is most likely to be held at the Michigan State University on August 7-9. Yamanaka (8th Dan Hanshi) and Saito sensei’s (8th Dan Kyoshi) are back once again this year, in addition that there might a be a 6th Dan female sensei from Japan. (more…)
